Meredith Salenger

Salenger has been raised and lived in Malibu. Her passion for acting was performing in front of her friends and family as an infant. She was 8 years old when her mother enrolled her in her first acting course. Salenger played a small role in the film as "a singer and dancer orphan" in John Huston's feature film Annie. Salenger was also featured in the commercials of a couple of television networks. Salenger was cast as the lead as a character in The Journey of Natty Gann from Disney, which starred John Cusack alongside Ray Wise. The film was awarded the Moscow Film Festival's golden medal as the very first film made by Americans. The film also earned her "Best actress in a Drama" at the Youth in Film Awards for her performance as the sexy Natty Gann. After appearing in four other films by the time she was just 18 which included A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon and A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon, she quit Hollywood in order to attend Harvard to further her education.
